Could not resist the temptation to have a swing at -bigadvs over on the OS darkside.
Was running them in the summer when they worked on Linux and getting some big PPD juice. The first one done on W7 kicked over 80,00 points in two days but the next will take longer.

Cheers

They have -bigadv on Linux once again using the new 6.34 client and the A5 core. And they seem to be getting better PPD then with Windows Also !
Now if only I had an 8 core Box .... I just barely bought an AMD 1090T X6 rig a few weeks back ... might be my last box this year

I've had mostly 2,000,000 step units that take about 10 hours (used to take well over 24 hrs on a single x4 5462,) and a couple 500,000 that take almost the same amount of time :\ . I just installed my second xeon x5462 a couple weeks ago (if that.) Hoping to see the 80k WU soon :P

Some see things as they are and ask why, I see things that have not been and ask why not?

Yes, but AFAIK this kind of WU is no longer available with the v7 client on a Mac :sneeze:
The biggest difference between time and space is that you can't reuse time.
