Team macosx kangaroos, (the big jumpers - you know who you are)

You've come a long way, and why not a little recognition!

In the past we've had many folders who have made sudden impressive jumps in production - among them wdegraaf, Nanuq, day, ChgoBiker, kbl...(sorry, can't spell it from memory) and Noah, to mention just a few... most recently, radekboktor and amwiles. :woot:

New and notable this week:  françois.jacquemin and JakeThePimp, who have both been folding for quite a while at modest levels but ZOOMED up into the top 20 producers this week.

Way to go, François and Jake - Congratulations on the new machines and many thanks for putting them to work for the Team and the project!

blipper too - Welcome to the forum, blipper! Thanks for the great folding so far.

Now announcing the latest leaper, jimlau who joined the team in February '04, switched to the SMP client in December, and is in today's Top 20 list.

Way to go, Jim! We appreciate your contribution. How about registering for the forum so we can thank you in person?

It was the SMP beta that helped me do it.  That added to the Mac Pro I got at the beginning of September drastically increased production over what my circa 2001 Dell and G4 Powerbook were able to do.

Hey blipper, welcome to the forum & thanks for posting!

Congrats also to SouthSideX3818 (Ignacio) and LinemanWW who have made great leaps in productivity and are now up there among the team's top 20 producers.  The power of the SMP client on Core 2 Duo and quad Macs - Very impressive!   Thanks guys, for moving us forward.

And keep an eye out for matthias who went from 1700 points in December to 24,000 in January, and mknelson as well.  We salute you!

Hey, what's up, Doc?  Our latest kangaroo, drfritzi has leapt forward from a respectable 150 ppd or so to - holy cow! 5000 ppd over the last couple of days.  Spotted another one too - jcaf, who has been folding with us since December 2004 with, hmm, what seems to have been a G3 or laptop contributing a WU every week or two, has hit the mother lode of 1440-point WU's, nine of them in the past week.

Thanks also to our 9 new folders this week. You are all doing a GREAT job. Welcome! Please register for the forum, we'd like to meet you and to answer any questions you might have.

Finally: :woot: :) utopia-i. :) :woot: It's super to have you back, good buddy - I couldn't have asked for better news.  We've missed you.  Welcome home.

Way to fold, folks!  Don't forget to invite your friends to Folding - they could be next week's leapers.

Hey cheerleader!  Who's that masked woman at the bottom of the Top 20 list?!  Looks like that Opty 165 and SMP client are two great tastes that go great together!  Wait!  No, that's peanut butter and chocolate!  MMMMMM, Reese's peanut butter cups!  Congrats to all!  Nice to see lots of red!  But we need MORE!  :woot:
Fold!  It does a body good!™

Here's one for the record books - fcrowell, who joined the Team on December 30 2006, is folding in the top-20 list today.  Welcome F!  (Fred? Francine? Feodor? Fiske? Faustina?) Thank you for your contribution - and for the inspiration.
